This is the second round of the tournament stage. Please vote for the album that you feel should move on to the quarterfinals (aka Sweet 16).

To encourage as many votes as possible, the deadline to vote will be Wednesday at 1:00PM Eastern.

Trying not to vote for The Beatles...I'll wait and see if my vote matters here, too.

The Beatles, I just can't say T Rex is better.

Jeezus, I came in here thinking it'd be an easy T.Rex vote, but I just can't go against "Happiness Is A Warm Gun", "Revolution", and "Yer Blues".

Lennon beats Bolan.

Beatles.

I have a suspicion that this is some of Lennon at his best. I'd have to dig through stuff to back that up, and I'm lazy. But yeah. John was good when he was aaaangry.

I voted T Rex, but I don't really care which one wins.

I like that T Rex album better than any Beatles, especially the White Album.

I'd be more inclined to listen to T. Rex at this point, but yeah, can't vote it as better.

This debate still goes on. Sometimes we see votes for "favourites/I'd be more inclined to listen to..." and "Superior work/This one is simply better".

Well, I think the whole, this one is objectively superior is bullshit anyway, so I generally always go with which one do I like better.

Well, yeah you could try and strongly argue point by point why Album (I) is quantitatively superior to Album (II) but in the end it probably comes down to what one generally prefers on a subjective or affective level.

Yeah, because to do anything objective you'd kinda hafta lay out criteria for measuring them. And that criteria would always vary depending on your personal opinion of what to value.
