I can't even remember the last time I played BOTT because whenever I feel like hearing those songs, they're immensely superior on the Rolling Thunder bootlegs.

Never heard Rolling Thunder. But, I like the songs quite a lot as is. Now I am curious...although I have only very, very rarely agreed with the opinions I often see about demos or live or otherwise forgotten versions of songs being superior the what gets released. Not saying it never happens, but it seems to be way more seldom for me to like some alternate version of something I already like than it seems to be for others.

The first one is a pretty famous clip, but still gets me. Most of the Bootleg Series from 1975 is actually on youtube.
