Yoakam RULES. I can actually see you liking that, PT. Do you have his covers record?

Saw him last year at SXSW with Del McCoury, the Flatlander sand The Truckers. That was the day that when I recounted for my friends how much I drank, they accused me of telling fish stories.

His character mixed a superficial Enlightenment sensibility for reason and taste with a genuine and somewhat Romantic love of the sublime and a propensity for occasionally puerile whimsy.

I remember the last album I got: The Wrens - The Meadowlands (yeah... finally.) And I've always liked Dwight Yoakum, but never owned any of his stuff. The whole "man and his guitar" thig appealed to me because, for me, it's ALWAYS been about the song. Cool production is great, but if you start with a good song, there's no way it's gonna be bad music. And yep, Colin, I am singing and playing guitar already. Gonna record a set for the "Garden of Earthly Delights" show over in Milton Keynes, UK in a week or so. Feeling pretty good, although I'm damn tired today after a sleepless night on Daddy Duties. Rockin'!!!
