I used to be into models when I was a kid, around the age of 8 or 9. It would be so frustrating to see something that looked like those on the box, and then open up the it up only to find a flat, dull plastic in front of you. They never lived up to expectations.

Those are incredible, however. The Cadillac Fleetwood (no.7) is my favorite. Absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah. Most old Japanese tin toys are really nice, but those are especially cool.

Yeah, but even when I painted them, they still were never as great as the box. Why can't you just sit back and allow me to wallow in my model reminiscing. Yr lucky I didn't turn this post into a Wonder Years episode.
