This one was pretty much a toss-up. But I think that it's S&E's trebley production that pushed it back behind Doolittle, in the end.

Pixies.

I would have preferred to see these two in the finals, but I should feel good that they've both made it this far. I have to stick with my favorite from the beginning, Pavement.

I don't think that either of these will have a chance to take down the winner of the other semi, though. Not on this board.

I hope we can see bracket charts after this is done, I'm surprised either of these albums made it this far.

Pixies (without them i probably wouldn't have been interested in pavement when they came out).

I don't feel so bad that Let It Be didn't make it because I would've voted against it now anyways.

DOOLITTLE! (Even though it'll get crushed by whatever wins the other bracket.)

I'm not necessarily so sure of this. I could easily see an anti-established classic vote happening in favor of a more modern classic. In the end, despite the many discerning music fanatics here, both of the albums here represent much of the collective tastes of the board.

I'm not looking forward to having to make that choice.

I would easily pick The Stones over either. Revolver over Pavegmenk and would probably coin flip Revolver vs. Doolittle.

I am a little perplexed as to how Revolver became The Beatles' standard bearer.
