yeah, but I'm also cheaper. I lose/am robbed of pens all the time, so I like to roll semi-disposable.

but yeah, now that I'm not in an office, I should look into getting a kickass pen for myself.

Don't misunderstand me - I roll mostly disposables. I like the pentel rolling writer and these disposable fountain jobbies I got.

I pretty much hate most rollerball pens.

you guys ever see the bic crystal reviews at Amazon?

I was able to successfully insert my Bic Cristal ballpoint pen into the esophogial area of my attacker's throat and incapacitate him until the constables arrived to take him into custody. Paramedics removed the pen from his throat and returned it to me. Rather amazingly, I wiped the blood and a small amount of body tissue from the pen and used it to write my police statement

This pen does exactly what it's supposed to do, and that's because I made it watch while I killed several of its family members.

that review is awesome.

Quote:
When the initial excitement of taking delivery of my new pen started to wear off I realized that I shouldn't just write for the fun of it, this should be a serious enterprise, so by the second day of ownership I started to take a little more care of what I wrote. I used it to sign three letters, and in each case was perfectly happy with the neatness of handwriting that I was able to achieve.

there was a time where it was also relevant that you can wind tapes as fast as a tape deck with them.

I used to do that shit too. Pop the tape on there, raise it up and fling it around real fast in a circle... god I forgot all about that.

You would need to buy another FP - you cant just swap nibs on that cross if iirc. Most pens don't let you interchange nibs. Pelikans do.. and imo, Pelikans are the best price/quality FPs around.

I dont know what you are willing to spend on pens.. but check out the Pelikan 150, 250 and 400 series (and if you like really large pens then the 800 series).

Actually, while you cant just swap nibs (like you can on Pelikans) you can swap nib sections... but I havent seen a left oblique nib section for the Cross Townsend.

The muppet-related Poptodd threads will always hold that special place, I think.

yeah I know.

But fucking muppets, and like... three or four of them annually, for 7 years.

Not many things will make me take a hard look in the mirror and question my online habits.
