I can appreciate honesty but in the other thread you said that Doolittle was half filler and you could live without hearing half of it.

So by that standard, are you saying that Sticky Fingers has even MORE filler on it?

No, I stated my reason earlier in this thread. I listen to the Pixies more than the Stones. With an exception for Dylan, I don't listen to many "classic" albums regularly. The Pixies are one of those "Youth" bands I still listen to and have their discography.

I thought about that, but the vote seems pretty consistent, for total votes.
I don't see someone doing it for an album in each pairing, and their have been enough blow outs to make it nearly impossible to overcome the will of Obner without making it suspicious.

Don't worry!

I voted Stones, btw, but don't really care that much. I like both of these albums a lot but have heard them plenty and would not consider either to be that important to me personally.

I expected The Stones to run away with this though, and even though I didn't vote for the Pixies, it would be interesting to see them win this.

I was glad to see London Calling voted out, and after that it really didn't matter. Also glad Revolver didn't take it.

you know it seems like more than just a few here lately have squeaked by on one or two votes. Wonder if the New Registered list has some OPAL's or DALEK's on it.

I wish I had come up with some ridiculous alter-ego/troll like that or many of the other past ones on this board, but I am entirely too lazy to carry on a charade like that. I'm pretty sure most of Mods would call me out for something like that.

Not trying to poke you or anything, but it always strikes me as kinda funny when people are dedicated enough to log into a site every day for YEARS, and to post regularly, but then spend most of that time professing how little they care about anything being discussed. Not to generalize.

i think it's more out of habit, that they might see a thread that would interest them but end up being disappointed and wondering why they logged on in the first place. there are plenty of times i come on, see the same stale threads, and leave. rinse and repeat

i smoke cigarettes and i know its bad and sometimes it makes me shit, but there are many times i look forward to lighting one up

I don't do that.

I cared about the poll for several rounds, and then it came down to two albums I don't care that much about.

Yes you do. 98% of the posters on here go into "I don't really care mode" at the first sign of an argument. And they all profess not to read the board that closely or worry about what others think.

Which is why there is so much reading comprehension fail on here.

Fuck you. You know I don't back down from an argument. I say I don't care if I don't care.

As usual you're attacking a straw man ("98% of the posters on here"), not me.

But fuck you, seriously. I care enough to say that. You feel the need to jump on me at any given opportunity? FUCK. YOU. You are a sad, pathetic fuck desperate to show/create his own worth by trying to diminish others. You and Radcliffe and handful of others on here. Fuck you.

I really should get away from this place for a while, though. I definitely don't need it. Who does?

Fuck you.
