I wouldn't have had any clue if Loogar did nominate this album. I'd be more likely to vote for a backlash against The Beatles or The Clash, than I would the Stones and/or Loog and the Dawg crew. I always thought Exile on Main Street was the big Stones album here.
I don't think there is anything wrong with calling it now. We seem to have way more votes for this choice than we had more most of the other votes. I think if we kept it open until Friday, we'd end up with a 100+ votes for one pick with half of those coming from fake profiles.

I doubt it. I mean, his "dialogue" in support of his RS choices tended to be so hyperbolic that I could see it turning off some people, maybe, but... I like to think it's not a contributing factor.

Sorry. I did mean Wednesday. I don't know where the Friday came from. And the funny thing is I thought I was extending the deadline since it was so close but once it got to 5 votes, I called it.

I will eliminate you from consideration for the play-in games (which will not be for the 16th seed in any region).

But, yes, there will be a coupla those. A few deserving boarders -- no names, yet -- need to be given a chance, even for not being in the top 64 (as of FT's posting of same).

Think of it like Missouri's no. 12 a few years ago, or Arizona's recent 12 -- they got in by the skin of their teeth ("reputation") & got to the Sweet Sixteen.
