I know some of us have non-traditional jobs with non-traditional hours...
but for the 9-5ers - what do you normally work?

it recently occurred to me I work pretty late...

6:30, 7 on a normal day, getting in between 9:15-9:30

I realize it' ain't banker or lawyer hours, but I've always had jobs where I was DONE at 5...

I'm one with non-traditional hours. Some days I can start whenever, some days I have to be at an account by 6am, some days I'm done within two hours, some days I can work 12 hours or more depending on the time of year.

Oh wait, were you not asking the non-traditional people?

These days I get in between 8:30-8:45am and leave anywhere from 6 to 8pm (or later). I typically don't leave the office for lunch, and I've been working and average of about 6-7 hours (total, I either go in on Saturday or Sunday, not both) on weekends .

It'll go on like this until the end of the summer probably, then maybe I can get back to 9 to 6, which is what my hours are supposed to be.

6 hours a day, any time I want (within reason). That usually rounds out to 1-7.

right now i'm on a 4am - 8am (sometimes till 9am/10am/11am/12am). sucks getting up at 3am, but driving home with all the people on their morning 9-5 commute while I'm on my way home to enjoy the rest of the day is almost worth the 3am wake up.

I don't have to be in an office ever. But I pretty much work 24-7.

I got her around 9:30am and am still in the office, but usually leave around 6:00pm when it's slow. Took a lunch at 4:00pm, and with my Blackberry, I'm always working.

Get up between 430-530am and generally am not "off" until I slip into Stage 1 sleep around 10pm.

I lol'd at this.. was involved in a debate with a friend who announced to her "friends" on fb that she would be on vacation for a week in Mexico. She has over 600 "friends". Will be interesting to find out if any of these "friends" steal her stuff...
