Scott H. Biram is moving way up my list. Dude's a monster.

Have seen Biram twice this year live. No idea what his recordings sound like but he can put on a show.

I haven't been feeling as many things as being "Great"this year (unless reissues counted which, to me, they don't)...

A "top 10"-ish list would be maybe:
The Long Lost, JVanderslice, Sunset Rubdown, Silversun Pickups, God Help The Girl, The Paper ChAse, Ducktails, Cave, Minor Cannon

Definitely:
Nosaj Thing - Drift
Foreign Born - Person to Person
Tortoise - Beacons of Ancestry

All three I want to dig into more. Have only heard snippets of Nosaj, nothing of Tortoise and simply streamed the album on P4K for Foreign Born.

I've liked that Tortoise album a whole lot more than I expected to.

I'd up it, but I bought the CD and don't have it with me.

pop punk. early elvis costello. kim shattuck (the muffs) and the dude from nerf herder do guest backing vocals. no-brainer fluff but it's executed well. i love it.
