I watched an episode a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was well done, but I want to find the season one dvd and watch that first before I see any more. I have all of the season two episodes downloaded from bittorrent so I'll watch them after I catch up.

It's a trippy show. There needs to be more stuff like this on tv.

on one hand that would be great, but other than the fact that they keep having visions of the bomb exploding, and by the show's timeline that should still be 8 or so years off, i don't see how they extend it beyond this season without abandoning every possible storyline that would end next week. i'd rather that they end it after 2 seasons naturally than extend the story for no reason.

On the site I read that info on, apparantly the show's creators were envisioning a 6 season Carnivale, with 3, 2 season arcs covering different stories with the characters (e.g. Season 1 and 2, Ben vs Brother Justin and then something different for 3 and 4). Alternatively, I've also read rumours that it will be a 3 season Carnivale with Ben and the gang, ending at the show at that point. I'm sure we'll have a better idea what the deal is next Sunday. I wouldn't mind seeing the show go on if they could keep it interesting. I've actually grown pretty fond of the characters over time.

I'm pretty jazzed to see how this all wraps up or if it does at all.

I agree. I missed most of the early episodes of this season, but caught all of season one. I could still keep up with almost all of what happened tonight though. I had forgotten that Sophie was likely his daughter. Caught me out of the blue when she shot Jonesey.
