hadn't seen this in forever and it was better than remembered. Probably Spike Lee's best movie.

I caught Pan's Labyrinth yesterday on one of the HD Movie channels.

Seriously fucking fantastic.

Also, after watching that and Charlie Wilson's War - I seriously NEED some shirts with Epaulets.

It's crazy how the person who played Dil was in and out of the film industry so quickly. What an amazing film debut.

The plot twist was actually ruined for me by one of my coworkers after I told them that I borrowed it, but the interaction between Fergus and Dil was so interesting that it didn't bother me at all. To me that was the highlight of the film, not the plot twist itself.

I've been wearing some since last year and I like them quite a bit. Billy Reid sells several shirts with them.

Yeah, I had no desire to watch it and then one lazy Sunday afternoon, I caught it on HBO and damn, I was hooked. I don't think I blinked once.

Interesting. I'd have pegged you for one to incessantly ridicule this movie and its fans.

Great movie either way.

I think the statute of limitations ended long ago about not killing the plot twist.

I have now ordered Pan's Labyrinth based on the drooling going on here.

I saw Food, Inc last week. If you're already involved and interested in the food industry, than this film will be pretty basic to you. I am sort of in between in that I know a bit but not a lot. I found the film to be fantastic and rather tame/accessible for people like my parents who think anything to do with restructuring industry or utilizing naturally grown foods/animals is hippie talk straight from Karl Marx's mouth.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona - It was alright, Penelope Cruz kinda saved the movie for me, she was pretty great.

I HATED that movie but I dislike Anne H and I thought the TV on the Radio hipster wedding was annoying!

Wow. I thought that movie was amazing. Not something I necessarily need to see again though. IMO, it's the best thing Jonathon Demme's done in years (although I haven't seen "Man From Plains" yet)

The whole thing felt like an exposed nerve and some of the scenes with Hathaway were excruciating to watch and I mean that in a good way. Some great acting going on in that movie.

Almost felt like some sort of Documentary on the modern dysfunctional family.

Saw The Hurt Locker last nite. Apparently, after getting PWND by B-Rabbit at the battle at end of 8 Mile, dude decided to man-up & join the service. Good for him.
