Speaking of which, did you all see that Shaq couldn't get into the WH today?

last night at the bar this girl told me that "both Canada and Mexico are socialist countries, we're next"

I don't think I've ever laughed in someone's face like that.

I'm watching the news and started hearing what sounded like a goose honking. Mind you, I've never seen any wild geese in my lifetime living in Southern California. Curious, I walked outside and found my neighbour's peacock on top of their roof. You read right...a peacock.

Uh-oh, while outside trying to take a photo of the bird, the neighbours climbed onto the roof to try and chase it down. It's now flown to the neighbour's garage in the back.

This is now a comedy show.

Sad to tell you, these people are still close to the silent majority.

BOSTON — Supporters of a prominent Harvard University black scholar who was arrested at his own home by police responding to a report of a break-in say he is the victim of racial profiling.

Henry Louis Gates Jr. had forced his way through the front door of his home because it was jammed, his lawyer said Monday.

Officer Justin Barrett later apologized, saying he's not a racist. He told a local television station on Wednesday night that he was sorry for the e-mail.

"I regret that I used such words," Barrett told CNN affiliate WCVB. "I have so many friends of every type of culture and race you can name. I am not a racist."

He was placed on administrative leave after the e-mail surfaced, and he might lose his job as a result.

That's not happening to me, but threads I've gone into still show up with new posts, which is annoying, because I'm constantly clicking into threads I've already read.

Uh-oh, I guess I didn't get the memo to line up for My Chemical Romance across the street this morning. Why o' why did I leave my sleeping bag at home?

PS -- They're promising "Two Nights of Face Shredding". Oooh, I'm scared.

is this guaranteed in writing, with a stringent refund policy in the event one would only get one night of face-shredding?

sounds fishy to me
