I blame the Hive for this loss.

While I needed their support to make it this far, my relationship with them was like an albatross around my neck when it came to taking votes from the Sensitive Silent Majority base. As one voter noted, "I just couldn't vote for Rick. A vote for him would essentially be a vote for Loogar and I'll be GODDAMNED if I'm voting for that SOB."

They in essenece become my own personal Jeremiah Wright.
