I feel that crushed ice is far superior, especially in iced coffee...opinions?

If you like your drinks to be crunchy and to experience discomfort and general inconvenience while trying to drink them, crushed ice is the way to go.

The lack of cubed ice is the only thing that bothers me about Zaxby's. They only use crushed.

I had crushed or very tiny cubed ice in a coffee once and I kept sucking it up through the straw. It was very distracting.

but in terms of cooling a beverage, cubed has more surface area and is therefore more efficient.
