A pizza and a 12 pack of beer at the new Cowboys stadium will cost you at least $150.

On the bright side, the stadium's official Web site says that "having your company's name on a suite makes an important statement about your success" and can help make an impression on clients. (Namely that they're paying you way too much money.)

Yet another episode of musings on Pitchfork's rating system--

Today they reviewed Jon Hassell's new album "Last Night the Moon Came Dropping Its Clothes in the Street", and it received an 8.5. Another record reviewed was Yacht's new one. It also received an 8.5. The Yacht record received a Best New Music moniker, the Hassell record did not. I understand that it probably is a sliding scale based on genre considerations, and that yes, the average reader probably wouldn't like the Jon Hassell album. However, shouldn't the Hassell record have received the BNM tag based on the rating?

Whaaaat? Now, I've gotta recruit another member. Then again, I don't think I'm at the level that you and some other friends are (were) at.

I was at Level 194, and bringing in about $280 million dollars an hour.

But there is no end to this game; it was the same thing day after day, so finally I had to put a stop to it. :)

This should make for an interesting discussion between Bob and Gar.

The GOP must be struggling to find a legitimate candidate when they are turning to a 72yr old blithering idiot who most likely rarely lives in the Orlando area.
This blog also personifies why sports writers shouldn't write political columns.

I didn't see it from either of you on FB, but whenever there were upgrades or recruiting or something I would see a million updates hogging up my newsfeed. I've nearly blocked like 10 people because of it.

Pretty sure if I buy an old van, I'm airbrushing Putin on horseback on the side.

Eli Manning is now the highest paid player in the NFL. Before the "miracle" win over the Patriots, he was generally considered to be rather mediocre.

WHA?
Yea it seems pretty pointless. It's more of an obsession than fun. I don't understand why I get so pissed off when someone puts a hit out on me or robs me 10 times in a row.

My wife thinks it is the stupidest thing on the internet.

Ah, the Zeus of Artemesium, everyone's favourite early Classical bronze sculpture. Well, everyone with taste, I mean, come on! The Riace bronzes are so awkwardly posed!

I never thought I'd ever get to say that on Obner.

I've just come to notice that a couple of people/old friends on facebook defriended me and they're people that are (now) ultra conservative etc etc.

Not like I'm little miss radical these days, but one of them does the Mrs Illinois pageant stuff and I made some mention on her wall about our days going to polo games and hanging with the players when we were young. Guess that may not sound so good to pageant conservatives eh?

But fuck that shit. I hate when I get defriended. I've also noticed some people who used to be on it dropped fb altogether. huh
