This is the first part (the group stage) in Obner's efforts to pick the best album released in the 2000s. In the group stage, there will be 64 groups of 5 albums. The top vote-getter in each group will advance to the 64-album tournament.

Please vote for the album that you feel deserves to be in the tournament. The deadline for this group is Wednesday, August 5 at 1:00PM Eastern Time.

Oh, WTF. Autechre vs. Mouse on Mars? I mean really, what are the chances these two would be in the same group?

Not the it would make any difference in this tournament. Most people here have never heard and wouldn't like them anyway.

I can't really decide between the two, but I think maybe the MoM has aged a little better.
