Theoretically, anyway.

West Virginian birthers getting their DIABEETUS medicine thru Medicaid are kind of mixed-up on that point.

isn't the employer run system losing it's luster? with people having bigger chunks removed from their pay check, or employers not providing it at all?

Yes. Some of it's speculative, but not using terribly risky calculations... costs are going up. But costs have risen already somewhat already. The Big Scary is how much more will they go up if nothing changes...?

I'm fine with people taking issue with the man's policies or performance, but everything just really seems increasingly hate-filled, and just has a very ugly feel to it.

Is it that different from the criticism of other recent presidents, though? I hear the same level of hatred towards Obama that I heard towards Clinton from republicans in the mid-90's and on the flip-side, dems aren't generally very forgiving of republican presidents. To me this is all par for the course when one side doesn't get their way in the election.

FT's response...."but he's black, so this HAS to be racist".

No, no...it's really just all the birther stuff and die-hards still convinced he's a Musilim and that sort of thing.

I'm cool with all of the cries of socialism and brown-shirted caricatures, etc. I mean that's still at the same level of the anti-Bush angst previously spewed by the libs. I guess it's when the attacks are more against the man than his ideals is where I take issue - real personal attacks, you know?
