This is the Play-In portion of the Group Stage (4 groups of 5 albums) where the 20 second place albums with the best percentage of votes will compete to make the tournament. The winner of this group will go on to face the 16-seeded Yeah Yeah Yeah's - Fever To Tell in a Play-In Match tomorrow.

The deadline to vote is Thursday, August 6th at 1:00PM Eastern Time.

The Wrens were my first foray into Board OverHype. Saw everyone here splooging their skinnyjeans over that album, so I got it and threw it into the cd player, and my face melted from "eager anticipation" to "hey that's, that's not so bad I guess" to "wait this is terrible."

me neither...she's got a nice voice but her songs aren't good and most of her stuff sounds pretty soulless to me. I'd like her a lot more if she'd crafted an Emmylou Harris style career of recording mostly covers.

Can't egg you on here. I do often wonder how many obs really listen to stuff beyond the first year of its release. It seems like everyone is always so focused on looking for the next new thing to love for a few months. Still, only one listen? Hell, I don't count myself to be a big fan of that album but I have it in a stack to go in my car changer when I'm through with this batch.

Songs: Ohia is the best of this group and i'm not a huge fan of it either. Unless the Unicorns pull a big upset I'll be voting for whatever wins here over the YYY's. This is a pretty sorry tournament.
