The Silent Majority might lead Sufjan to a win, but I'll take Fugazi.

Fugazi.

Members of the SSM who vote for Sufjan will be hunted down and beaten up. This is not an idle threat.

You guys should hear The Argument if you like any Fugazi at all. One of their very best.

Agreed. I came around on Fugazi late in their career and this, to me, is on par with their best stuff, if not better.

Great album.

Ian wore sweatpants without irony when I saw Fugazi in concert in '98.

Fugazi.

Considering the SSM, at least in part, emerged from the late 90s emo boomlet, their sentiment may still lay with the DC postcore.

Fugazi

Rads - vote Fugazi. This Sufjan album is all about your nemesis, Jesus.

Tough call for me. I like that Fugazi record a lot, and Sufjan was my #1 of '04. Staying Midwest on this one.

I absolutely adore both of these. I have to go with Sufjan purely for the spiritual aspect.

Come and get it, though I haven't been silent in this at all.

I like that Sufjan album a lot, too, actually. I just like Fugazi more, generally, especially this album. And I'm curious as to how far it can actually go in this thing. It seems to have a decent amount of fans here.
