Considering the SSM, at least in part, emerged from the late 90s emo boomlet, their sentiment may still lay with the DC postcore.

Tough call for me. I like that Fugazi record a lot, and Sufjan was my #1 of '04. Staying Midwest on this one.

I like that Sufjan album a lot, too, actually. I just like Fugazi more, generally, especially this album. And I'm curious as to how far it can actually go in this thing. It seems to have a decent amount of fans here.
