The Go Find - Miami (2004)

Yeah it's on Moor Music, so it's just like electronic pop kinda stuff very similar to Notwist and Lali Puna, but it might be the most enjoyable release on that label. I had it since it came out, but somehow forgot about it, and it didn't make my list...which is an injustice, because it is probably the best organic/electronic/pop record since "Neon Golden"

but I could be talking out of my ass.

Sounds interesting. I've been getting into Lali Puna lately -- scary world theory, left handed, tridecoder. Was looking for more stuff along these lines. Thanks for the tip.

Sounds like something I'd like, maybe I'll check this one out.

file under "postal service" as well... ben gibberd even help shine some of these off.

i think its got some quality moments. wish it had more staying power. but i like it whenever it comes on in shuffle.

I think I like it more than Postal Service, just cuz I seem to be tired of Gibbard.

Oh, and it's the hipster backlash.

it's not nearly as complex as Notwist, but as katie said, it does have it's moments. in fact some of the finer ones are the sappiest [City Dreamer, What I Want].

he recorded them all on his laptop in his bedroom. nice.

also, the Masha Qrella album is the best release on Morr to date IMO. such a great record. Tarwater is spotty, but still has some great tracks as well.
