How much did he really love Wisconsin?

How does one answer that question?

Its rhetorical so "not at all" is ok.

I will say this: If he had been traded to anywhere even a little bit less boring than GB, he'd be dead, because allegedly he was one fucked up individual during his time in Atlanta.

He partied and screwed everything in town with Chumura his first 5 or so years in GB. Family in GB used to see him out quite a bit.

I think it's passed time Favre be allowed off the leash by Deanna & get reacquainted with Chewy. That Viking Sex-boat isn't going to rent itself.

& Jerry Boyle drinks for free.

(Fuck that alcoholic Irish barrister in the pants. Fuck 'im.)

(& yes, he is an alkie. For real. It's not just an Irish joke. I know his AA sponsor.)

a friend of mine in Minneapolis sent me this email:

"With this roster, the Vikings are strong favorites to win back-to-back Superbowls. The real question is if Favre will wear a Vikings jersey when he is inducted to the Hall of Fame."

The guy was 100% serious and took calls to discuss the idea.

Not even sure the Vikings should be favored to win their own division, much less back-to-back Super Bowls. Did Favre come out of retirement through a time machine or something?

He can also throw with both arms. That's good for two touchdowns per drive.

To give the announcer the benefit of a doubt he does not deserve, I believe he is attempting to compare the '09 & possibly '10 Vikings (though, while Favre is signed to a two years deal, I very much think he is going to do the same Hamlet routine in the next offseason) to the '97-8 Broncos. Old quarterback (Elway, Favre) with stud running-back (Terrell Davis, Adrian Peterson) winning consecutive Lombardi Trophies.

But, yeah, it's a flawed analogy, 'cause... CHILDRESS.
