Better than the Unplugged version.

The master tapes from that whole Clapton Unplugged session need to be destroyed.

There should be some kind of public ban on Rush where it's not really illegal to listen to them or own their records, but you have to do so secretly. They can never be played, talked about, or looked at in public.

My wife would personally go door-to-door for this one.

Listening to her talk about Rush is like hearing Klan members discussing Al Sharpton. Zero tolerance.

My respect for her just went through the roof.

Sometimes when we still had a car, and would have the radio on, a Rush song would come on that she didn't recognize (ie, no singing at first). For fun, I would try to keep a straight face until the vocals started, and then watch as inevitably her face would melt from Complacency to Suspicion to Anger to Vengeance, generally resulting in her slugging me in the shoulder. "YOU KNEW IT WAS RUSH, didn't you?!"

Compared to the version that Kid Rock has out, the original is bliss.

What's that new song remake out there where they change the lyrics to "when you go down on me, you really spin my head around..."

At least if "Rooster" is on, Elliot isn't.

<stuff about DC101>

When I was visiting my parents in May, I was amazed by how that station is still stuck in the '90s. I think the only songs I heard from the 2000s were new songs from Green Day and 311! I do give them some bonus points though for playing some "deeper" tracks from the '90s though. Not necessarily good songs, but I heard "Dead & Bloated" from STP and some Lit song that wasn't "My Own Worst Enemy." I mean, if you're gonna play that stuff, at least it's a fair variety.

"Rooster" isn't really that bad, all things considered.

Probably been mentioned several times before, but please, for the love of God, ban "Total Eclipse of the Heart"
