amazingly the director's cut of the first one was worse than the theatrical version. i'll probably still go see the new one but i already know i'm not going to like it.

You know, I don't even think John Walsh imagined the possibility of dudes like this and the Austrian guy...the multiple children in seclusion thing...WTF?

it's not even like they were in seclusion! The neighbors were aware that this guy had kids living in tents in his backyard, and I have to assume they realized something was off about him... so juuuuuuuust for the fuck of it, why not call child services?

I'll probably end up watching that director's cut, god knows why, and then decide I can't even consider watching the sequel.

He's gonna remake the blob next. It'll be curious to see how he manages to make that thing rape teenagers.

it just had things in it that made absolutely no sense and scenes that went nowhere. maybe i'll just pay for another movie and sneak into the sequel so i won't feel as bad about it.

My Hall and Oates Concert pics. Their set included two encores and every hit song except "Private Eyes". They didn't play "Method of Modern Love" either, but that song wasn't that huge.

Today is my 12-year wedding anniversary.
It's also the 12-year anniversary of the death of Princess Di. Weird waking up on my wedding day to that news.

Guitarist death to be re-examined

The death of former Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones is to be reviewed following new evidence, it has been revealed.

Police in Sussex were handed new information connected to the musician's untimely death 40 years ago.

Mr Jones, was found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool at a house in Cotchford farm, Hartfield, East Sussex.

An inquest recorded a verdict of death by misadventure but speculation continued that he was murdered.

A spokesman for Sussex police said the force had been handed documents connected with Jones's death, prompting the review.

But he added it was too early to launch a fresh investigation.

He added: "These papers will be examined by Sussex Police, but it is too early to comment at this time as to what the outcome will be."

Jones, who was 27 when he died, was a founding member of the Rolling Stones.

Both of them looked unnaturally young for their age. Oates definitely had the Carrot Top plastic face going on and both are obviously dying their hair or wearing hair pieces/plugs.

There is no A/C in our building today; no ice in our fridges. People on the east side of our offices are sweating as if they were in saunas. Luckily, I'm on the north side and have a personal oscillating fan. It appears to making the morning somewhat bearable.

Welcome to Office Sweat Lodge!

I've been trying to turn off the A/C all week, but A)it's fucking hot, and B) it actually helps the air quality.

I don't envy you today, T.

I just saw one of the employees walking around with his pant legs rolled up to the knees. Another employee is walking around with cold towels around her neck. The a/c FINALLY feels like it's kicking in. Meanwhile, I've moved the oscillating fan 2 feet in front of me. Problem now? My damn contacts are drying up!!

Everyone is in a foul mood.

& does Hall not look like Denis Leary?

How do we know Hall & Oates didn't die, with their last will & testament indicating that Denis Leary & Carrot Top must carry the torch?

Not real. Beak didn't break, bird is perfectly upright and symmetrical, wings are outstretched, there is more blood on that windshield than an entire crow would probably have in its body, etc etc. I vote "fake." Especially seeing the artist signature thing in the corner.

Many photographers add a watermark or signature like that for self-promotion, and to stop copyright theft. But I agree it's likely fake, for the other reasons you mention.
