Where are heading? I missed this news at some point.

My boss threw me a Going Away party on Friday and I broke most of my existing rules of conduct and promptly went crazy and tore up the place. I basically got bounced from my own party by 9pm after I nearly got into a fight with the spouse of one of my labmates. I also managed to somehow steal 3 packs of cigarettes from various party attendees and the going away cake before getting the cab. My boss said over lunch today that I was the only one drinking wine so the damage was easy to calculate: 2 bottles of white, a magnum of red, and one of those mickeys of the truly awful Cuervo Gold from 1-9pm.

Not going anywhere actually. Staying put in south Alberta, forever probably. The missus has a gov't job that pays extremely well, and I've got a line on a provincial contract as well in health care so it was just a Goodbye party from the lab. I've been with this boss for 4 years which is a pretty long time in my line of work.

I finished my contract at work and am going to enjoy a well deserved break by doing lots of reading and listening to music.
