disappointing. the guitars sound better since johnny marr is playing with them now but there's too many slower songs which isn't their strong suit. i'll probably keep a few songs but the majority are getting deleted.

really enjoyed it. if i had to guess before i saw, i'd say it was recorded before let freedom ring -- seemed a little more reigned in, not as many sax squeaks or bleats (not sure how to describe it but i think you can catch my drift) -- but it was recorded after. still a little more than traditional hard bop though.

I like it better overall than Beyond but think Beyond had better individual tracks. This is more consistent for me, though.

My opinion, for what its worth, is that its significantly better than Beyond.

I can't post album covers on this computer for some reason (won't bring up a Properties box, damn those IT guys) but I've been listening to these day as part of my soon to be unleashed 'KonstantinL Reviews The Sixties' series.

Van Morrison 'Astral Weeks'
Johnny Cash 'Live At Folsom Prison'
Creedance Clearwater Revival 'Willy & The Poor Boys'
The Pretty Things 'S.F Sorrow'
Bob Dylan 'Blonde on Blonde'
