What do you guys think of all these album anniversary tours where the old bands are playing an album in its entirety? Is it too nostalgic trying to make people remember when they didn't suck? Is it cool and retro?

What bands out there are doing it. I know I've seen about 4 this year, including:

The Cult - Love (25 years)
Jimmy Eat World - Clarity (10 years)
Judas Priest - British Steel (30 years)
Ratt
Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood
Aerosmith - Toys In the Attic
Public Enemy - It Takes A Nation...

At first I thought it was a lame idea...and then The Cult decided to do it and I thought it sounded interesting.
I think I might prefer if they played a setlist from a concert on their Love Tour, instead. I won't get to experience it since they haven't come anywhere close to Cincinnati.

For my birthday a couple of years ago, my brother in-law took me to see Roger Waters perform Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. And, honestly, it was a pretty amazing show. He had a crack band and played a bunch of other stuff first.

As long as they expand upon the set list with other songs, too, it's a cool idea. If it's done well, and you like the album that they're performing.
