Did anyone else see that guy Blount of Oregon sucker punch that dude from Boise State following that game? I think he should be done with college football. Not only did he jack a guy from Boise State, he almost got in a fight with a fan a la Ron Artest. He's more of a douchebag than Kellen Houston of my team Nebraska was when he elbowed the feeble dude from Mizzou a few years back.

that was crazy. BSU should have won by 30+ but played super sloppy. I wouldn't be suprised if i see that guy on the Ada County Jail website tomorrow morning.

I'm guessing Oregon will kick Blount off the team very soon... I wonder if he'll just end up transferring to a Division IAA team, or if he'll get banned from all of college football.

My brain keeps kicking out anything not involving thinking about tomorrow's game right now.

I've already had a half dozen emails this morning with regards to tomorrow.

I was kind of surprised that it hasn't happened already but I guess that it's 7:30AM in Oregon and their AD probably doesn't have a young baby at home waking him up.

Joe Cox may or may not have the swine flu but is still expected to play.

Lotta flu going around Athens right now apparently.

This information spread like the flu though my office about an hour ago.

Reports are confirmed that he didn't fly with the team but I'm assuming that was just so he wouldn't infect anyone else.

Not the news I was wanting to hear before I leave for the weekend.

At least it didn't just show up today. He's been trying to fight it off for a couple of days now from all reports.

He stays on scholarship though. I'm okay with that (not like they need my approval... ;-)).

Yeah, I'm sure the thug is going to class regularly.

i'll be pulling for Georgia tomorrow because you're such a cool guy and Atlanta was so good to the Olson crew.

From this Failgate thing on Deadspin:

Quote:
I went to the Orange Bowl in 2008, Va. Tech vs. Kansas. Went to a friend's tailgate, drank beers and cocktails for about four hours before the game, and then someone tells us they have a little blow on them. So a few of us get in the front seat of the Suburban just after dark, while the tailgates around us are still wrapping up. We're all doing it except one guy who came with his girlfriend, and is sort of a jerk anyway.

He gets pissed we're doing coke, and some local news crew is wandering the tailgate lot getting a few quick interviews with drunken fans. The jerk calls over the news crew, and tells them we've got a quote for them, and before we know it, an anchorwoman and a camera man (attached to a very bright light, I might add), are standing outside the driver's side window with a light spotlighting three people huddled around an "...And Justice For All" CD case that has about four decent-sized rails carved out on it.

As far as any video evidence goes, it might be in the possession of a local NBC affiliate, but I don't have any to offer. Sorry. — Alex M.

Monte Kiffin's Vols Defense is holding WKU to negative yards right now and FCS level team Northern Iowa is currently leading #22 Iowa 10-3 at the halftime.

I have no issues with UGA, but having grown up about 20 minutes from Stillwater I have to go with OSU here. Sorry Derris; OSU 24, UGA 20.

Taking my daughter to the U of A game tonight. Starting the season with Central Michigan, not too exciting, but following a winning season and the first bowl win in over a decade Tucson is crazy with anticipation right now.

Just got a call from Madison. Call placed at 1.30, game-time at 6.00. Drinking began at no later than 12.00 (pm... I hope).

I fully expect a re-enactment of the aftermath of '93 win over Michigan. Camp Randall denizens, don't let me down. Let's re-make history.

I just cracked my first beer and will be heading downtown to watch the game on 35ft Theatre screen. I plan on overdosing on Fairbury Brand Hotdogs and local micro-brew by the end of the night.

The afternoon games are pretty boring so far. The morning games were decent, but I didn't really have any horses in the them.

Dez Bryant finally stings the Dawgs with a reception. I've been surprised how undisciplined the Cowboys have been early on with all the penalties.

Dem Dawgs trail 10-7 at the half after a terrible fumble.

I am only able to comfort myself by imitating Derris' reaction to people. Life. Fucking. Fail.

OU falls to the Mormons 14-13 after Heisman winner goes down to injury. The Sooners might lose to Miami now.

Nebraska wins 49-3, with the lone field goal by FAU occurring after the Huskers had an INT negated by the roughing the passer penalty. We weren't near as dominant on the D-Line as I thought, and gave up some serious yards, but our offense looked stout against the undermatch Sun Belt opponent.
