(I'm suddenly realizing that) I haven't actually owned Please Please Me since I had it on tape in elementary school. Suddenly I'm remembering crushes I had and other random bullshit from 1987.

Klosterman's review. Kinda funny.

EDIT:

On second read, that's a pretty damn funny article.

That was really funny.

You guys have got me curious to want to hear these. Maybe I'll just pull out 1 and listen to that instead of spending the cash on the box or the time downloading 26 discs of mono and stereo versions.

yeah but hotfile isn't. Those sites never really use mediafire, in my experience.

Oh, I like mediafire. But for the entire recorded output of the Beatles, $12 isn't shabby.

it's ridiculous. 4 tracks, so much going on, and still manage to have everything separate well. fucking genius.

Is any stores actually carrying the mono versions today?

depends on your music listening preference.

if you listen in headphones, roll with the Mono.

if you listen on a stereo/surround system, grab the stereo.

Why is the mono box $50 more?

Oh look, you can buy the discs individually too.
