The wife sends me a text at 11 this morning saying she didn't sleep at all with cramps, and thinks she may have started labor but isn't sure, stay tuned, she's gonna take a nap. And now 3 and a half hours later I still have no idea what's going on.

give me some insight Dov. it's fast approaching.

Basically, its a temper tantrum if either:
a) She doesn't get what she wants.
or
b) she doesn't get what she wants IMMEDIATELY!

oh boy! lol

haha, yikes!

i'd take a few temper tantrums in trade for Séb not wanting to jump in bed with us every morning at 4am. :(

My kid is going through some serious seperation anxiety or something (though understandable) and I am dealing with this again. She hadn't tried getting in bed with me in almost two years, and it has been every night for the past two weeks now.

My 3 yr old managed to get her head stuck in the staircase railing while playing with a friend. She may have been stuck for about five minutes before screaming for help.

Couldn't get her out, the 5 yr old friend and I had to call 911(after she located my cell since I had to hold Es up so she wouldn't get strangled in there) . Kid ran and got her mom, my friend, and we waited as two firetrucks and an ambulance showed.

They got her out safely and without damaging my metal railings, I on the other hand damn near had a nervous breakdown prompting the emergency crew to be more worried about me then Esme at one point.

Aghhhhhh, these things are the hard part about raising kids. I tell ya though, that was THE scariest thing I've seen happen. Holy jesus. HOW she got her head in there I will never know!

Did you take a picture? That would make an awesome album cover.

I've seen this happen before, luckily it was an old house and the railings were kinda loose and we were able to get one of the railings out of there.

Every month, the 9:30 Club in DC does a "Surprise At the Club" night. Basically, its an unspecified and varied night where the club surprise books a band. Sometimes its cool, and sometimes its a bore. Always though a band that is never announced until a few days prior and big enough fan base.

Got an email tonight saying it was ZZ Top on Monday night. Would love to go but tickets are $75 per. Too bad. Really want to see them live, and that would be the place to see 'em.

Turns out yesterday was just "practice" contractions. Tightening and a little nausea, off and on, all day, but not labor. So the waiting game continues.

Not only can I not listen to Exactly Where I'm At by Ween at anything less than "WUH OH" volume, I also cannot listen it just once.

Nice thing to see on the floor of the office all day. I feel like I should pick it up and toss it, but the lighting doesn't allow you to see the nasty rotten brown stain in the white portion of it. I think when you work in an office, indoors, in America, this shouldn't happen. haha
