I would be more concerned with keeping what you have in the condition that it is in, i.e. packing, than warping from heat, etc.
My parents didn't have much in the way of a record collection, but when I pilfered it in MS-HS, all of the records played well. And my dad told me he moved over 20 times from 70-95, and 9-10 of those were in my lifetime, including to Germany, back to the states, and Korea...so I think you'll be OK.
