if you had downloads in progress they continue regardless of the hub, hence the name direct connect.

Well, that sucked. I came home after seeing a friend's band (drunk) to a flaky internet connection. Tried reconnecting a few times (made it once, hence the "sit tight" post), but it didn't last. Seems to be OK now.
