Sorry, but I was loving every moment of that first quarter.
Interceptions by both teams. A pooch punt returned for a touchdown as well as the Fake FG for a score, and that long option run for the first score was a thing of beauty.

Yeah, but that fake FG was serious. I am starting to dread this season.

(and swing wildly from pole to pole in terms of support and disdain for my team ala FT)

Well, I guess it's official... Colorado SUCKS.

Down 30-3 early in the 3rd quarter to Toledo.

That's what you get when you give your son the starting QB job and guarantee you'll win 10 games this season. Hawkins the QB, is probably a little better than Hawkins the Coach, but that won't stop the fans from booing when you trail your instate rivals in your opening game.

Last nights game against the Rockets proved one thing, the Buffs have one of the shittiest pass defenses I have ever seen. It looked more porous than the 2007 Kevin Cosgrove led Nebraska D, and I didn't think that was possible.

Headed to the Navy / La. Tech game. I can root for either!

Okla St. is being exposed now.Down 24-7 at the half.
That,and Houston isn't a bad team.

Okie Light now trails 24-21. If I was an UGA fan, I wouldn't be too pleased by the Cowboys performance against a Conference USA opponent.

I need to take a nap after an early afternoon of drinking and watching the Huskers defeat Arkansas State 38-9 Too bad Zac Lee has been playing against Sun Belt teams the past two weeks, because his passing stats are Heisman worthy.

Okie State now leads.

Before I slumber, I want to give a shout out to Marco and the UDub Huskies for ending their losing streak. They currently lead Idaho 42-16. Even if the Vandals aren't much of a team, it's good to get off the snide.

Houston now leads.Pick returned for a TD.

45-35 with about 3 minutes left. Houston's not a bad team at all.

SI cover jinx rears it's ugly head.
Teams from Oklahoma should never play a team named Cougars.
See BYU and now Houston.
Avoid Washington State at all costs.

When ND loses this, Weiss should be fired for his playcalling on that last drive.

The Okie State and ND losses today clearly help teams like Boise State and BYU. The Big 12 might only have one BCS team, and the Irish will most likely be Gator Bowl bound once USC destroys them.

Missouri looking horrible... K-State looking even worse... Iowa State sucked... Colorado sucked more...

The Big XII North should definitely come down to Nebraska & Kansas.

And I believe Zac Lee is leading the country in pass efficiency (that will probably change a bit after playing Virginia Tech next week... ;-)).

Well, well, well... K-State & Mizzou looking like they could both come back and win, but still, against lackluster opponents and just squeaking by.

Navy whips La. Tech.

Goddamn, Maryland had to beat JAMES MADISON, a team that plays with leather helmets and doesn't use the forward pass, 38-35 in overtime.

And San Diego State cruising this week. We may have a team this year. We do have a great defense.
