I think I bought more CDs this year than I have the last few years combined. CDs are just better.

i can't do the digital thing. even though probably 80% of my listening is ipod, i still need the physical product, booklet, artwork, etc.

my bad tommy!

while i got you here in our thread...Lexington BBQ #1 was fantastic. got to experience cheerwine -- good stuff. my buddy is into trying to hit every burger joint in this book called hamburger america, so we took a drive up to mount airy (the real mayberry, apparantly) to a joint called snappy lunch and then before our flights, we hit up the other NC burger joint listed in the book, south 21. both decent burgers...nothing to write home about. i think it's more about the history/experience of those places.

charlotte is an odd city though. it was kinda weird around that epicentre area, but we ended up finding a nice little irish pub called connolly's on 5th. i shoulda hit you up for more suggestions.

I tend to avoid Epicentre since it can become dbag central a lot of nights. I've got pretty sick of a lot of bars uptown a year or two ago but glad you came upon Connollys since its good other than being a little small and dark.

If I remember, the weather that week was kind of chillier than expected but at least the Fins won for you.
