Seeing Rhett Miller tonight in Philly. Should be a good time.

...as long as I get there. Gonna have to fight Phillies traffic across the Walt Whitman Bridge. D'oh.

it's overrated. The chocobacon, I mean. the fair is a deep-fried combo of awesome and tragic.

Cats definately set the County Fair Thread golden standard a few years back. Pictures of all the beer and fried food and sad mutants, and a great write-up to go along with it.

the thing is, I've already been twice and forgotten to bring a camera both times. I'll bring one when I go back for the demolition derby, but I've refused to eat the fried white castle burgers or the krispy kream chicken sandwiches. My goal was to find fried coke, but it seems that it's been taken off the fair market.

Jessica Simpson's dog stolen

LOS ANGELES - SINGER Jessica Simpson's pet dog, Daisy, has apparently been stolen by a coyote, said media reports on Wednesday.

Simpson posted a heartfelt plea for information about Daisy's whereabouts on her Twitter account, reported entertainment website Bang Showbiz.

The dog was taken by the wild animal while she was actually watching, said the Tweet.

"My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes, HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help! (sic)," Simpson wrote.

A neighbour of Jessica's said: "We heard yelling and screaming coming from the direction of Jessica's house around 9pm.

'I can only imagine that it was that moment that it happened because the next day we saw posters up around the neighbourhood announcing that Jessica had lost her dog to a coyote. It's so sad." -- AP

Dalen would definitely agree that the pun is better as NiggaLess Cage....

So found my holy grail online. Clive Pig's A Sense Of The Size Of The World (1987).

Probably won't listen to it very often and it's only 128 kps but my vinyl went missing in 1991 and the record's never been reissued since the original pressing.

I wanna know how he got a guitar case on his bike. It's not really all that easy.

Jesus, if he takes a left turn at more than 20mph that thing's in serious trouble. I've wondered about getting a case to bolt onto the luggage mounts like that, though.

I was good --- the only things I ate were a bbq beef sandwich and funnel cake. The chocolate bacon was $5.25 and my cheap ass didn't wanna pay for it.

The two items I was interested in trying were: fried avocado and the fruit towers (banana, apple, or strawberries layered with short cake -- bananas had an obscene amount of chocolate syrup poured on top; the other fruits was whipped cream).

I may go back being that it only cost us a dollar to get in (police / fire personnel reduced price).

You should not win cash, just a "belt that costs more than the house you are living in" for hitting the #s on this one.

Is it really a good idea to drink 3 largish bottles of 9.5% alcohol German beer before going to the bar instead of taking that nap I intended to take? Guess the night will tell.

Would queers really be at Walmart to see this?

They'd probably be there to take photos of all God's rejects that eat themselves into a condition of poor health that requires them to utilize a rascal for mobility.
