Cheers to harry--UCLA takes down Tennessee in Knoxville.

And San Diego State cruising this week. We may have a team this year. We do have a great defense.

Slow down harry. I don't want to rain on your parade because anytime you go into to Knoxville and get a win it's big, but you guys dodged so many bullets in that game it's ridiculous.

UT's D played good enough to win but their Offense is not very good, Crompton threw 3 picks, and you still needed a goal line stand to win. Not to mention the fumble inside your own 5 with under 2 minutes to go that very easily could've been recoverd by UT. This a pretty flawed UT team and Crompton is still a work in progress.

I don't take anything away from UCLA because a win is a win and I really hope they continue to improve and become a year in year out challenger to USC, but I'm not sure UT is the litmus test you may be making it out to be.

God help them against Florida this week.

And Tenn's "not very good" offense did roll up like 500 yards the previous week... and ran into UCLA's strength.

Not for nothin but Western Kentucky is currently 120th out of 120 DI teams.

I seriously think Florida drops 50 on 'em this weekend.

Did anyone see this? I was watching PTI and they were showing it. I was laughing my ass off. He's lucky he didn't impale himself on his sword.

As several blogs have noted, it's a nice visual representation of the UVa football program.

So, am I the only one to think Monte Kiffin has been game-planning Tebow since before MK knew he would be coordinating his son's defense at UT?

The bloodbath the experts expect Urban & Jesus to unleash at the Swamp, yeah... I don't think that's happening.

23-16 Florida.

I think Monte Kiffin is a Defensive genius, but he's not at Tampa Bay with a bunch of all-pro defenders anymore. Tennessee doesn't quite have the athletes or speed yet on Defense to compete with the Gators and the Volunteer offense is appallingly bad and prone to turnovers. They also don't have a solid back-up if Jonathan Crompton completely shits himself in the Swamp.

I don't think it is a name the score/Gators could score 100 on Lane Kiffin's ass situation, but I'm guessing they put up at least 50 and cover the spread which is currently 30 points.

Whenever one is expecting pants-shittingly bad, always bet the underdog.

No, I am not saying UT wins, but they will (much more) than cover.

30 points on the spread? You bet UF to cover, you deserve your thumbs getting broken by some Guinea Wop from Ybor City.

I'm used to seeing some ridiculously large point spreads being covered in Big 12 country. Plus, I'm going off Urban Meyer's history of sending a message. That Georgia squad that Florida spanked 49-10 last year was ten times better than the Vols are this year.

I never was a Miami fan, but I'm definitely rooting for them to hit 4-0 after knocking over Virginia Tech and Oklahoma.

The Viriginia Tech game won't mean much if my Cornhuskers can win in Blacksburg this weekend. That would make the Hokies 1-2, with two losses already this season against ranked opponents this year.
Nebraska is one of two teams in D-I to not beat a ranked opponent on the road this decade or since something like 2002, and is 0-16 against their last top 20 opponents, so I'm not really holding my breath or expecting the upset.

FWIW, Florida has averaged 30pts against their last 13 SEC opponents
and their Defense is currently only giving up 4.5pts a game.

They beat the Vols 30-6 in Rocky Top last year before Lane Kiffin and his mouth.

I don't know how any self respecting Razorback fan can look themselves in the mirror with Bobby Petrino as their head coach.

Biggest douche bag in coaching.

I hate him with the fire of a thousand suns.

I can't wait until he comes to Athens. I will have a bag of urine waiting on him....

Also, I enjoy going to away games in the SEC but I'll never set foot in Fayetteville. Why? BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO GO TO FAYETTEVILLE.

Or Starkville for that matter.

I'm worried about this game

wtf Colt McCoy's favorite player was Roger Staubach*, who last played in 1979? That's like my favorite player being Fran Tarkenton.

I can guarantee that it was one of those "my daddy always told me" things. Like folks our age who love Mickey Mantle or something.

I have to go to a fucking formal tonight at 8 oclock. I am thinking of going in a UGA singlet.

Did you hear Bob Griese on the Zone yesterday? He was basically like "Yeah, I don't really ever talk badly about anyone in football. but Bobby Petrino is a jackass and I wouldn't let my kid play for him"

I've got a half a shoulder in the crock pot right now.

Also, stat of the day (for Prom): Nebraska hasn't beaten a Top 20 team since 1997.

Got the wheatgrass in the blender... ready to see Huskies unplug SUC.

Cal looked very strong against Minn this morning. I'm putting money on them winning the Pac 10.

Just saw some highlights of that game; that running back for Cal is really impressive.

SC plays them in Berkeley this year. Best was hurt against them last year. He'll have a 180 yard game this year. He's the real deal.

I love the fact that no matter where you are in the country, your personal, political, religious beliefs or sexual orientation, football remains universal.

I just had a salmon burger and a salad, and queued up UT v UF - the game that I INVENTED the 'terrorist attack game' to describe.
