I will never tout that piece of shit Romo again. He is completely useless, as is that clueless bumpkin of a "head coach," who has somehow made the defense even worse since taking over as defensive coordinator. He is a embarrassment to his father, who was a truly great head coach.

They're still my team and all, but fuck the Cowboys!

Luck be damned, Bears D actually looked good today.

Granted, they were road losses, but Steelers losing to Bears & Patriots losing to Jets softens the blow of Packers-Bengals.

Still, f' you, timmyjoe & joey crack.

I don't know what the NFL needs to do about this but that bullshit strategy of calling a time out right before field goal is kicked has got to go.

Total bush league and a rule needs to be put in place to stop it.

The funny thing is (other than Palmer's ridiculous interceptions, and by ridiculous, I mean wimpy throws right to the other team) the Bengals outplayed Denver and Green Bay pretty handidly, but they must be a cursed team or something. When they kicked that field goal, I could easily imagine losing the on-sides kick and the freak play that would tie the game.

Anytime the Steelers lose, and the Ravens win is a good day. So, yeah big ups to da' Bears on taking all the big-talking Steeler fans down a notch. I should've worn my Cade McNown jersey today.

that was SOLID. pretty horrible play calling on that last series by SD, but a solid hit nonetheless.

and that J-E-T-S defense is scary good. heading down to miami next month with some buddies to take in that monday night game. we'll see how we fare tonight, but i'm not so confident at the mo.

I respect Rex Ryan, because of his pedigree, but I want to beat them again really bad. I had no doubt that the defense would profit from his presence, but I'm still not sold on them as a team.

definitely not sold on dirty sanchez and the offense. but what that D did to brady on that last drive was ballsy. at first, i thought maybe that first texans game was a fluke but not after yesterday. and it gives me no pleasure to say this as the jets are the only team i hate more than the patriots.

Aside from Deion Sanders (who, let's be honest, did his best work elsewhere) the Falcons have never had a player the likes of a Tony Gonzalez or a Hall of Famer period.

Pretty giddy.

Andre Rison was probably the closest. I was pulling pretty hard for ATL in 91 when they marched into DC. I've always been against the 'Skins, so having the Falcons win would've been huge. Unfortunately, that was the year of Rypien, who put up huge numbers.

Yeah. Bad Moon was great but like most of the greatest Falcons (Mike Kenn, Jamaal, Bill Fralic, Jessie Tuggle, William Andrews et al) is just one step below a guy like Gonzalez who is just simply All World.

We've got a LONG way to go on defense before we start talking about Super Bowls, Bob.

At this point, only two games in, I would suggest an Arizona return to the Big Game, with the Cards facing the Jets. Arizona might well still lose. (Revis would drink Warner's milk-shake. He'd drink it up.)

But I am still hoping for Eagles-Dolphins, as I conjected. Much will depend on Miami not blowing it, again, tonite... But please, Ronnie Brown, have an off-nite.

(I am fourteen points up on my Obner Fantasy Football opponent, but he has both Brown & Joseph Addai yet to go. FML.)
