it's people smiling and eating cake before getting spattered with shredded person.

there's no blood.

that's obviously a paper shredder malfunction.

A drunk secretary ran over the new boss's foot with a riding mower. I laughed like a crazy person.

That was akin to one of those "random dude takes a bullet" or "Christopher gets shot in the foot at the butchers" moments ala The Sopranos. That + the dream sequence crap with Betty in the hospital has made me think that this show is in danger of devolving quickly once they get past the original idea.

This season has been frustrating. Betty is just awful, and her stories are just grating on me. Worse yet is the shit like Medgar Evers in the kitchen. Thankfully though, I like what I've seen from Pete, Joan, Peggy and Roger this season.

Park Drops McNair Skeleton Plans

KINGS ISLAND, Ohio - Channel 4 has learned that Kings Island has dropped plans to include skeletons dressed and positioned to resemble ex-NFL quarterback Steve McNair and his mistress as part of a Halloween display.

A promo video for the "Halloween Haunt" shows McNair sitting up on a couch with Kazemi lying across his lap. There is a hole in the top of McNair's football helmet.

You left out the rest of the article:

Quote:
E-mails flooded Channel 4's inbox expressing a distaste for the display. Channel 4 e-mailed the park and received an answer late Wednesday.

"When the gates open for the start of our Halloween Haunt event on Friday," said park spokesman Don Helbig, "park visitors will not find a depiction of Steve McNair in any scenes."

Kazemi fatally shot McNair before killing herself July 4 in Nashville.

Halloween Haunt opens Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Other celebrities included are Michael Jackson in pajamas, Health Ledger with pill bottles and Sonny Bono on skis.

"You're gonna see Ted Kennedy, Ed McMahon and there's still other ones yet to be placed," Helbig told WLWT.

and hey MSNBC, WLWT is Channel 5.

So is this what those, who complained about the tournament brackets, wanted the board to be? Dead?

From my hometown newspaper:

Quote:
A customer at the Merrill BP Amoco called the police after he couldn't find the clerk. Police arrived & found the clerk lying on the floor in the back room. She was intoxicated and cited for underage drinking. Her mother picked her up at 7:32 AM

Matthew Weiner, the show's creator, wrote for the Sopranos so the similarities aren't that surprising. Hopefully he can do a better job of keeping Man Men on track for as long as possible. This is one of the few shows I really enjoy, and don't want it to turn to shit.

Monster Baby is coming to eat your city... and your far inferior children!

An Indonesian woman has given birth to an 8.7-kilogramme (19.2-pound) baby boy, the heaviest newborn ever recorded in the country, a doctor said. The baby boy is pictured here next to a baby of average size at a hospital in Medan, North Sumatra.

I didn't pull a Sopranos reference out of my hat...
