The previews made me want to choke myself, with my hand not Gunnery Sgt. Hartman's, but I've heard nothing but good things.

So it could actually be watchable? (Not that I will probably ever check it out)

It has Ed O'Neill. It's unquestionably watchable.

I can see you going either way on it.
I expected to hate it, but was pleasantly surprised.

You will do what you always do: wait to see what the consensus is and then profess the opposite in the strongest of terms.

I caught part of it and would watch again. Not a lot of laughs but a few really good ones.

Not appointment TV yet, but I did like the pilot. Good actors and funny situations. ... however if they go to the well about getting the 3 factions of "family" together every week, it will get repetitive and stale.

Not to hijack, but I thought Flash Forward has major potential as a new mind-fuck drama. Think it's up on the ABC site if you missed it.

A little uneven and maybe a little late to the documentary style game. The guy that plays the cool dad is the only who seems to hit the beats on that front. Others are playing it pretty broad and sitcommy.

Also, I'm pretty tired of gay jokes as the source of cringe-tv. Oh, you're gay. How awkward.

It'll probably get better.

I dunno, the Dad bothered me. Though this might be because I keep seeing him as the asshole with the boat from the Dawn of the Dead remake.

and yeah, the gay jokes were a lot, but that Lion King thing still cracked me up.

there's a good discussion of the show on last week's Jordan Jesse Go! podcast that pointed out some things, like the kids' precocious dialogue and Sofia Vergara's outright awfulness.

Still, 1 episode in, this is better than average by a good bit. Could develope into something really worthwhile.

How are those cloth diapers working for you, Mr. Go With the Mainstream?

Pretty good so far, actually. I have to clean the sink a lot, but ...

Ask me in six months.

FWIW, we are almost a year in on cloth and they are working out just fine - While there was a big initial investment, we're laughing all of the way to the bank at this point and time.

Kyle, save your sink and get yourself one of these and attach it to your toilet: http://www.diapersprayer.com/

Kyle, did you go the "old" traditional route with prefolds and/or diaper service? Or did you go with the newer pockets/All-in-Ones?? We did the latter and really like them - not to mention they come in some really cute styles.
