In case you didn't know...I tend not to pay much attention around here. And, by the way, I'm almost as insulted by the grouping me and rads together as he would be.

For some reason I can't shake the feeling that Rogue is an Alaskan term for "Triple Black Gangbang" or at least translates to "Airtight." I wonder how long into the book before she sets the record straight that the kid actually IS hers, but Levi's the father...she NEEDED it.

Hmm...AFI and Alice in Chains performing within a couple of blocks of each other tonight. Kids have been lined up for hours.

I had no idea that either of those bands still existed.

But then, the other night driving down the strip, I saw that the HOB has Sugar Ray and the Revolting Cocks on their marquee, which was a little weird. For different dates, but still a little weird.

Quote:
Abercrombie's Michael Jeffries was awarded total compensation of $71.8 million last year, with a base salary of $1.5 million, according to the Corporate Library.

Michael Jeffries, Abercrombie & Fitch

His compensation package included a $6 million "stay bonus" designed to keep him on board, despite his 17-year tenure, as well as perks such as the use of a corporate jet.

The Corporate Library notes that Jeffries is compensated at "the upper quartile" of his peer group. In other words, the compensation committee that determines his pay assures he'll be paid more than what 75% of his rival CEOs get.

"If you do that, you're almost guaranteed to overpay your CEO," said Paul Hodgson, a senior researcher at the Corporate Library.

Quote:
Jeffries, now 63, is Abercrombie’s resident impresario and CEO -- and he’s made a career of looking like the brawny Aryan specimens who constitute A&F's core demographic. When asked why he dyes his hair such a distinctly unnatural shade of platinum, Jeffries replied, "Dude, [because] I'm not an old fart who wears his jeans up at his shoulders."

Driving down my street and you don't even stop. Hmpf!

Alice in Chains is just Chris Cornell. They had a much longer line than AFI did.

You mean: 5-year-old BOY!
That is awesome! There is no such thing as an unfunny fart joke. It may be a cheap laugh, but it always gets a laugh.
