2 things that keep surfacing on shuffle, that I've gotten from mixes somewheres over the last few years... Both are great pop songs, and I can't figure out from Myspace clips and such whether or not these bands merit any further attention. I can't find anything nearly as good from them, but I'm not especially adept at searching it out, and you guys probably know whether or not they're worth it. So...

Moonbabies - Shout It Out
Code:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/i9znex

I Am Kloot - Over My Shoulder
Code:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/9ir5xo

For whatever reason I find both of these to be great little songs, and I'm really hoping you "people" either know where to find more from them, or something really similar that I don't know about. I have been meaning to ask for like months and I always forget. Thoughts?

I feel like I Am Kloot was mentioned around here once or twice. I've heard neither though.

A search only turned up vague mentions from 3 years ago and older, pretty much. Their myspace stuff is ok, but not amazing. I dig the guy's voice on this track a lot, great balance between "lazy" and still hitting the notes.

I can get you more of the moonbabies and/or possibly find similar . . . but I'll need some time.

I'll take it, for sure. That song refuses to wear out its welcome.

the first 2 I Am Kloot albums are really fucking good. a few popular British bands (Doves, Oasis, Charlatans) rate them highly as well.

I have a couple of I Am Kloot albums. They're alright.

Moonbabies last album was just ok but I loved their song War On Sound. If you like Shout It Out, you might like that one too.

Uh, well, I like it, so I don't think you would.

It's progressive rock.
