The downside is that it makes people like you think you are funny when all you are doing is regurgitating other people's material.

Promethium,

The most awesome thing happened to me today. I was at my kids football game and afterwords I went to the concession stand to buy the kids a snack. My change was 50 cents and one of the quarters was a Nebraska quarter. Is that a sign from God, or what?

Not much left to say except that they need to right this ship, or they could get to perennial also-ran status quickly.

Just remember that as bad as is getting your ass kicked by the Vols might be, especially when you didn't score an offensive touchdown, it would be much worse if this happened to you on your homefield.
Look on the bright side, they didn't break 50 or shut you out.

you certainly make it easier on my guilty conscience for all the horrible & juvenile acts of vandalism we did to cars with nebraska plates during k-state & ku games in the 80s.

Whatever makes you sleep better.

Personally I haven't heard much about acts of vandalism during the 80's. The ones that still stick out in Husker fans minds are the tire slashing incident in Lawrence sometime during the late 90's early 2000's and all the times that bags of piss and random batteries were hurled at people dressed in red while at the CU game in Boulder.

The only thing that K-State fans ever did was put up a loser leaves left sign on the Interstate after one of their four victories against the Huskers in Manhattan from 1998-2004.

KU always has basketball to turn to when Nebraska starts beating them in Football, I'm not sure if KSU will ever have anything to brag about.

Would not surprise me in the least, especially given the fact that as terrible as Romo is, Brady Quinn's even worse.

For those of you not watching the Office Wedding or MLB Playoffs, Nebraska plays at Missouri tonight in a game that may decide the winner of the Big 12 North. The weather is suppose to be terrible with heavy rain and the 8pm start time means the crowd will be drunk and obnoxious. It should be quite the contest with Nebraska as a surprising 3pt favorite on the road.

This game is huge for the Huskers. Any sort of victory and Nebraska may be well on its way to a 10+ win season with limited losses the rest of the way. Another stumble that ends with a blow out loss in Columbia will most likely signal a topsy-turvy 7-5 to 8-4 season.

I hope Nebraska protects that ESPN Thursday Night winning streak it has and ends the losing skid against the Tigers. The Huskers have given up 41+ points in each of the losses this decade.

I love how Malachi thinks anyone on the board besides him and huskerpunk gives a rat's ass about Nebraska football LOL

LSU spent this entire game playing not to lose, as opposed to even so much as once playing to win. Gators were there for the taking tonight, but Miles' gameplan was entirely too milquetoast.

That's at least one more person that cares about ND football on this board. And don't even mention FU, since he just enjoys beating the Irish.

If you are any sort of Kansas fan you should remain quiet. Having both your football and basketball squads brawling over women is almost up there with the disgrace that is the Scott Frost set-up of Lawrence Phillips.

I wonder if Scott Frost now coaching Oregon knows how lucky he was not to be killed by that man. I'm surprised Lawrence didn't rape and murder both of them.

I also still can't believe the Rams drafted him so high and people thought he was rehabilitated. He's the only player that truly tarnishes that 1995 Title. I'm just happy to know Rae Caruth wasn't a Husker player.

If Correll Buckhalter is included in that group, you might want to up the odds due to what he whispered in my ear a few months ago...

I don't even want to know what you would have been doing with the current Denver Broncos RB.
I won't ever call very many former/current Husker players "rapist" or "sex offenders", but I will say that after hearing a bunch of former players talk during an autograph session for some charity ran by one of the few christian players that they fuh alot of women now and fuh'd a lot of women back then.
In the court of law, there has only been two husker players charged with sex offenses. I'm pretty sure both got off and both are guilty as hell. One of them is current Husker Andy Christiansen who sat out most of last year during his court precedings. He allegedly did the two in the pink on in the stink move on a girl while in a bar.

Lastly, I don't know how the other schools are, but during the Nebraska Fan day at the start of Fall Camp a huge group of slutty girls comes scantily dressed to this event in order to pick up football players.
