oh my god a rookie quarterback who spent half of training camp as a number 3 didn't throw 4 touchdown passes and we lost to a team by 1! All you detractor's criticisms have been magically validated! The entire season all comes down to an opener, and losing by 1 away must be a sure sign the Bears will go 4-12.

god, you people make me sick......

somehow I keep missing the highlights of this game but looking at the box score----it looks like it was a brutal game to watch but not really terrible for the Bears.

Wur the 'Skins just coming hard on run defense or does y'alls O-Line just suck?

C. Benson 3 10 3.3 0 4

Yuck. How do you only run the ball 18 times?

Orton's numbers look pretty good. Hope he can stay healthy for yalls sake.

Yes, the Redskins, a team with a good running defense, did well against our running offense. It happens. Move on. Orton looked fine, would have looked better if Moose didn't drop a couple passes. We were a pass interference call away from winning the game. You keep missing highlights of the game because it was 9-7 and the Bears against the Skins... there were no highlights other than Lance Briggs ripping Ramsey's head off.

The O line does nothing to excite me. Between this game and the Sox debacle... Sunday was a banner sports day for yours truly.

How about Benson and Palmer? eh?

Everytime I hear Benson's name, I think of this old thread.

i cant believe it. orton too. im happy for orton. he always seemed like a good dude. benson was a crybaby turd. that said, it would be hilarious if he puts up a buck fifty when the bengals play the bears.

with this turnaround for both players, it has got to be the inept chicago coaches, right?

I think it's maturity as a result of being so ferociously humbled.

Dude, Orton looks JUST LIKE Jeff Hostetler with that 'stache. And by Jeff Hostetler, I mean a child molester.

Also: 26-12 as a starter. Much better than Sexxy Rexxy, & better than Cutlerfucker (though he now sits 20-21... & after the chips are down, after week 17, it will be a good measure over .500).

Bears will win NFC North. & take each game from the Vikes.

My wife went to high school w/ Orton's wife. That's all I got.

thats not really the best litmus test though. orton and rex both benefited from outstanding defenses while cutler had a pop warner D on his side
