I guess SI has been doing this all season long, here is the current mythical bracket if a 16 team playoff would begin today.

I think Alabama v. Florida could be a matchup for the ages. Bama's Offense is not super strong, but is competent, and their D is very stout.

Oh, we know for sure.

Are you implying LSU's offense put them to the test?

I think LSU is the 3rd best team in the league this year but their offense has been lackluster at best (yes I know that this says something about how terrible UGA's D is as well; we're awful)

Curious though, what do you think the LSU fanbase will do if Les loses to Auburn AND Alabama this year?

I'm gonna respond to this when I'm not as drunk, D.

Rick, the fanbase has been warming his seat all season. If we lose to Auburn, it won't be pretty.

Which to me seems completely retarded, no offense to LSU faithful.
The man has the best winning percentage for an LSU coach in the modern era of football. He even trumps fucking Nick Saban for christsake.
He's the only man to surpass the .750 mark for the Bayo Bengals, once again Saban and Bill Arnsparger didn't even surpass that mark.

I think you should mean every offense to the LSU faithful if they run off Les Miles, even if he were to go 6-6. Blame the internet or whatever, but college football fans need to calm the fuck down with always wanting to fire someone.

The ghost of Mike Archer lives in the minds of all Tiger fans.

Remember, the perfect season at LSU is they go unbeaten and unscored upon and they fire the coach.

And I wouldn't have it any other way. This type of insanity is also what drives the SEC to be so good.

There are people around here ready to drive into oncoming traffic with what's going on in Athens this year.

While I agree with Bloor, I think that you can definitely point to more symptomatic problems within our program that are beyond the "HE SUX!! FUGG HIM!! BRANG BACK WALLY BUTTS!" type arguments.

Also, I just told one of my guys who is a degenerate gambler to take Vandy to cover the 7.5 spread on Saturday.

Oh Willie is indefensible at this point. He got to go.

You know what I'm saying though. You live in Alabama and LSU is only a season and a half removed from a National Championship, has lost only to the #1 team in the country, and there are rumblings.

I'd give Willie a LIFETIME CONTRACT if we could get rid of Bobo.

Totally. I think Richt should have summarily dismissed them both at the post game press conference, brushed his shoulders of and said "It's BOCA Time!"

That said, given my hatred for Bobo's play calling far surpasses my hatred of our shitty defense. The Soft Zone has probably worked once, somewhere. That fucking shotgun draw has lost 100,000 yards for the Dogs since 2006.

Man, I couldn't be further from you on this front. I at least have seen signs of effectiveness from Bobo at different points over the last 3 seasons. I think an O-coordinator can be brought down by players. Our O-line has been the biggest disappointment this year. It's been a travesty and the fact that we can't run the ball, AT ALL, doesn't help our mediocre QB. What is he supposed to do? I've watched him try to establish the run. Is he supposed to keep at it after the 4th 3 and out. Not being able to run = death. Is his play calling predictable and conservative? Absolutely. Should he be evaluated and possibly let go at the end of the year? Yes.

But nothing compares, IMO, to the numbers and performances we are seeing on D. We are ranking near the bottom of the country in rankings where it matters in total D, scoring D, and turnover ratio (around #116 or something). I've always thought that good D-coordinators should coach up guys and make good players great. We've got 5 star studs not able to defend basic offense packages and looking completely confused after being in a system for 3 and 4 years.

I can find excuses for Bobo (however hard) but for me, Willie simply does not have what it takes. I'm not even saying fire him really. Maybe he should be upstairs in the booth providing valuable info but as a field general he fails miserably.

When did Kevin Cosgrove leave the University of Minnesota for the University of Georgia? That sounds exactly like the 2007 Nebraska Defense that got him fired along with Callahan. Does that mean you guys will give up 70 points in the cocktail party game?

Their are far too many Blue Hair/Gray Hair Husker fans to really care about these stories.

This is the sort of game that truly scares me. The Huskers are 10.5 pt favorites according to Vegas and have been picked to win by most sportscasters across the country.
Nebraska has covered the spread in every game so far this year, so I hate to pick against them.
The Huskers came so close to pulling off the upset against the highly ranked Red Raiders last year, so I am almost tempted to believe they might crush Texas Tech this weekend.
I'm hoping it ain't a shootout, but fully expect it to be.
