I sure am glad I dropped the Titans D in my other fantasy league. The scoring can go into negative points.

Yeah Tanner, you have a great team to cheer for this year. Watched them manhandle the Giants until early 3rd Q.

Yeah but Saints fans are fucking insane. When is this year NOT the year?

I can't wait til November 2nd.

No WAY can they keep this up. The last team to put up the kind of numbers they are for a full season (Rams) lost in the Super Bowl.

Brees is the MVP through 6 games though no doubt.

The Jets do this to me every year. There's no telling how many years they've shortened my life by.

Rivers is throwing some crazy-ass passes in this game. A lot of lofty jumping nonsense that ends up perfectly.

This really made me laugh today when I heard about it on PTI

Bingo! Lewis takes Redskins play calling from Zorn

Bingo!

You’re not calling plays anymore, Jim Zorn. Sherm Lewis is coming out of retirement to do it for you.

With a pained expression, Washington Redskins coach Zorn announced Monday that the front office “strongly suggestedâ€

Yea I've always noticed that about his throws. They look like up for grab jump balls but lots of times end up exactly where they should be.

I would not want to be a member of the Chargers' kicking coverage unit this week.

Ravens have been giving me heart-attacks for the past 3 weeks. This has got to stop.

I can't believe the Broncos are 6-0. They might lose their next two games, but at the start of the season I would have pegged them as a 2-4 or 3-3 team at this point.
I still won't jump back on the bandwagon, my allegiance to that team died when Elway retired.

What about Sproles? That was one of the fastest returns Ive ever seen.

I'm not sure why anyone should be too surprised about the Broncos: This sort of thing happens every year.

exactly

I am pretty surprised to see the Titans at 0-6, however.

I don't remember a team with an off-season similar to the Broncos pulling off a start like this. I'm a casual NFL fan so I'm not denying it hasn't happened. The Broncos off-season seemed like a recipe for disaster, like if their schedule didn't include game against the Chiefs and Raiders, you'd expect them to challenge the Detroit mark for futility.

Yeah, I mean their starting quarterback didn't go to Federal prison nor did their old coach flee the team in the middle of the season...

I'll give you the fact that nobody expected Matt Ryan to lead a Mike Smith coached Falcons team to a record anywhere near 11-5, but I don't think people thought it would get much worse than the 2007 record of 4-12. Starting off 4-2 was a surprise, but the level of competition clearly made that possible.

The Broncos on the other hand were a mediocre team in a bad division last year and were lucky to finish 8-8. Having some young punk replace a coaching legend and trading away your franchise qb for a guy with a neck beard didn't seem to bright. Not only were expectations low, I think some people were expecting a collapse of epic proportions. Winning the first three games this season for the Broncos was mildly surprising, but taking the last three was downright impressive.

Actually, nobody in the media expected the Falcons to even win four games. Google "2008 NFL predictions" if you don't believe me.

Mike Golic did.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/mik ... 08NFLpicks

And this guy said Six wins

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3244 ... nfc/page/6

but for the most part you're right it was two to three wins tops. That still is not a precipitous fall being predicted from the season before.
