It happens. And when it does, it's nobody's fault, and there's no reversing it. Just a little genetic typo. Poor kid is gonna have a pretty rough life, and already can't get into normal schools. This isn't the sort of thing done on a whim. The parents have brass balls to be so open about it. I can only hope I'd handle it so well.
