How the F can the Bearcats win 41-10 with the backup QB and drop in the rankings?

I don't buy this. Kansas not bowl eligible and Nebraska still making the Holiday Bowl?

Texas Tech and Texas A&M have a much better shot at taking that spot, basically any team from the Big 12 South that doesn't make the Cotton Bowl would be a good choice for the Holiday and Alamo Selections. with the Big 12 North battling for the Insight, Sun and Independence bids.

5 turnovers vs. UCLA but still an Arizona win. Fortunately there doesn't seem to be too much in the PAC-10 this year, unfortunately we still have Oregon and @USC.

They definitely deserved the win for actively stripping the ball. Their offense was even more abhorrent than Nebraska's. They just punted after three downs rather than march into the red zone and turn the ball over at the goal line. I felt bad for any person who played defense for either team on Saturday. They probably should have played Iron Man or punted on first down.

Pretty good article on the BCS rankings.

Basically, I am rooting for Ohio State to beat the crap out of Iowa and then lose the rest of the year.

The line on the cocktail party game is down to 15 in favor of Florida.
It started the week at 16.

Also, what is the over/under on Trick or Treat metaphors during Gameday tomorrow? I'm saying 23.

Other than the marquee matchups tomorrow there are some really intriguing under the radar games tomorrow:

Ole Miss @ Auburn
South Carolina @ Tennessee
Kansas @ Texas Tech
WVU @ South Florida (tonight, big implications in the Big East)

I'm enjoying rubbing it in to the VT fans that football means nothing to us, and once the basketball polls came out we forgot that there was a game altogether. Thanks for asking!

Nebraska off to a good start in Waco, leading 20-0. I don't think the fans at Baylor care that there is a football game today. They were mocking their crowd as a D-II fanbase.

I can't believe the Hoosiers are leading the Hawkeyes right now, that upset would be huge, especially for teams like Cincinnati, Boise State and TCU.

Is Florida playing Grambling?

I've got to get Georgia some credit, they are playing pretty good so far.

I took a break from following games once Nebraska's offense decided not to play the 2nd half. Next week at home against Oklahoma is going to be a true test of faith.

Also, the play on the field. Still sloppy, still no real game plan, still last in the SEC in rushing.

For the first time since our emergence on these boards, y'all are witnessing a truly terrible Georgia squad. B-L-E-C-H.

Look at this way, you guys still scored 17 points against the defending Champs. Nebraska didn't score a single point in the 2nd half against Baylor and have been averaging 16 pts in Big 12 play. Shit is weak man.

Were there any calls that require more referee suspensions in the Florida game?

I wish we'd see some wholesale changes in officiating by the end of the season. Nebraska got called for a dead ball penalty today when Suh sacked Baylor's QB in the 4th quarter and threw him to the turf on a live play.
I swear to god it is touch football now in the Big 12.

Just fucking stop. The Huskers, much like the Dawgs, are middle of the road teams at this point. It just so happens that Georgia plays in a conference where the last 3 Champs have come from.

Bottom line, all you other conferences are mid-grade in comparison.

Argue that? Anyone?

What do you have Texas? OU? USC? OSU?

Nothing.

Unfortunately I'm a UGA fan but the bottom line is that the best teams are from this conference.

Tell me I'm wrong.
