Outside of Georgia Tech playing Florida for the National Championship, I can't think of a better case for a terrorist attack than this series.

As a mariners fan i'm pretty excited. Hopefully we don't give up Gilles, Aumont and Saunders (just two of the three).

One big reason: They can extend Halladay--they can't extend Lee.
One small reason: Halladay is better than Lee.

Bingo. Bango. Lee wants to try for CC & Johan type money, 22, 23 mil per, & the Phils were offering, what, 16 on an extension?

Had to move on from him.

I am getting a lot less excited about this Lee/Halladay deal. While no details are confirmed yet, the rumors that are flying are just atrocious. Phils sending Drabeck and Taylor to Toronto? The reason they didn't get Halladay in the first place over the summer was being unwilling to deal them. I am not going to get cranky yet, but hopefully Amaro hasn't completely lost his marbles.

Yeah, I got less excited when I heard Drabeck. Taylor I care less about as there is no room for him at the present time. Although at one point there was no room for Howard. Shit happens.

Looks like Aumont, Gilles, and Ramirez.

I like the deal for the M's. A 1-2 punch of King Felix and Lee is tough to beat. If Morrow can finally get it together, our rotation is going to be damn good.

Now we need to add a bat or two and we're going to definitely be a player in the AL West next season. Especially with the Angels losing Figgins and Lackey and missing out on Halladay.

As a Jays fan, I think this is a great trade. Toronto is getting way more than I expected they would this late in the game. Rumors are they will ship Taylor to Oakland for Brett Wallace once the trade with Philly and Seattle go through. I am a little worried by the fact Drabek has already had TJ surgery and it sounds like he has temper management issues which are never good for a starter.

I love Halladay and the Phillies are getting an absolutely awesome pitcher and upstanding citizen (not that that really matters that much), they should be thrilled.

As a Cardinals fan, I can tell you Wallace can hit and projects as a solid DH. I've heard/read that Taylor is a 5-tool player, though. Always be weary of trades with Billy Beane!

I bet my Reds don't do shit this off season, partly because they are cheap and mostly because they are poor. (Mostly since we got Rolen. :))

fucking goddamn fucking Tigers. Why get rid of Granderson?!? He was easily the most popular athlete in Michigan, in any sport.
