Have you heard of MJQ Concourse? It's on the other side of MJQ's entrance and technically under MJQ. It's a relatively new venue.

It's on Ponce de Leon right next to The Local and a few hundred yards past The Clairmont Lounge on the right. (if you pass the Clairmont on your left)

Alright Derris, we need a damn plan because I seriously want to see some of these shows (you know, crawl out of my "Southside Suburbs Fortress of Gar-itude"

So lets get it together: Spoon and B.T.S. are must sees and I would be open to going to Athens for OTC but I bet its gonna be a tough ticket. Derris? Pagoda? Drinky? Steve? Who's up for the downstroke?

I'd like to go to these, but I'm sure I'll only make it to a few of them. I'm definitely going to the Eyedrum thing, M. Ward, Built to Spill, and Melt Banana.

The choice on 4/15 is gonna be tough: Iron & Wine, Fiery Furnaces for free, or Olivia Tremor Control. I think I'm gonna make OTC my priority unless they plan an Atlanta date later on.

I'm buying Built to Spill today. I suggest you do the same soon. It WILL sell out and it's on a Saturday night. It did last time. Not sure when Spoon goes on sale but I'm way down. I'd go to any of those at the Variety except Iron and Wine. They aren't really something I care to see live. I like them more in my car or home.

Actually I'd go to any of the above shows if people were going. Decisions, decisions.

Aight, I'm going to get Built To Spill tix today;

Tickets for O.T.C. are available over the phone by charge through SchoolKids?

Should I call up there and get us a few?

Can we pull it off?

Update:

Olivia's tickets are only $11.25 if you use a credit card over the phone.

I just bought 4. The line forms here.

I'd love to see some of these but since I have no car I'm stuck in Athens. Damn.

Run by schoolkids and pick up a $10 in-store ticket for O.T.C./Elf Power on 4/15. I might even buy you a beer.

I might buy you one too but you're prolly skeered.

As one who has merged my web-life with my real one by meeting some people on here I assure you it's relatively painless.

I'll get a ticket tomorrow when I get off work. I might try to do some bribing or something 'cause I want to try to get to that Built to Spill show too... no one here has cars!

Also, according to the Flagpole, Vanilla Ice will be doing a show here in Athens at The Ritz (used to be One Love). Haha!!
