Wong Kar-Wai's most recent movie is getting released on the big screen here. so, hooray for that.

also, in couldn't-be-more-unrelated movie news, Thomas Haden Church got the role of Eddie Brock/Venom in Spider Man 3, which could totally work for him. Did anyone see Lowell becoming the most successful cast member from Wings? Not that that says all that much...

Awesome. I've been wanting to see 2046 for a while now.

I was mildly disappointed with 2046. It seemed very disjointed, but still worth seeing, even if it doesn't live up to the hype.

They haven't said who he is yet...bets seem to be on him being either The Sandman or Hobgoblin, as Sam Raimi has said multiple times that he didn't want to do a Venom character movie.....

Tony Shaloub has been very successful.

Also, I wonder how they are going to do the whole Venom thing. Are we going to see black suit Spider-Man first?

I'm not sure I like the idea of Venom in the Spider-Man movies actually.

Tim Daly and Steven Weber trade off doing Stephen King movies so it makes you think they're the same person.

John Jameson is already there forthe whole Man-Wolf character thing, and whether Raimi wants it or not I promise you that the studio 'tards are pushing for a Venom storyline, since it's doubtful they'll be able to keep Tobey Maguire coming back for much longer. Still, Church as Sandman could definitely work. He's too tall to play the Hobgoblin, though.

I forgot completely about Tony Shaloub. How much Wings did you people watch, anyway?
